[CA] Forbe’s 2018 “World’s Billionaires List”


-  Amazon’s Jeff Bezos topped the list with turnover of $112 billion, followed by Bill Gates with $90 billion and Warren Buffet with $84 billion
- USA tops the list with 585 billionaires followed by China with 373 and India with 119
- Mukesh Ambani with $40.1 billion is the richest India (globally ranked at 13th) followed by Azim Premji and Lakshmi Mittal
- The list has 256 women, of which 8 women are from India
- Globally, Alice Walton, the only daughter of Walmart Inc. founder Sam Walton, was the richest women billionaire with a net worth of $46 billion, while Francoise Bettencourt Meyers and family, who own 33% of L’Oreal stock, was the second richest woman in the world with a fortune of $42.2 billion. She was ranked 18th on the global list.
- US President Mr. Donald Trump is placed at 766th place with net worth of $3.1bn
