The
Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley in the Budget 2018-19 announced setting up of
two Defence Production Corridors. They are:
Ø Tamil Nadu: Chennai, Hosur, Coimbatore,
Salem and Tiruchirappalli.
Ø Uttar Pradesh: Aligarh, Agra, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Kanpur, and Lucknow.
