Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi with the heads of
state/governments of 10 ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations)
countries at Rashtrapati Bhavan (on Jan 25, 2018). The India-ASEAN summit began
with a luncheon banquet hosted by President Mr. Ram Nath Kovind. Later, in his
opening remarks at the plenary session, Mr. Modi said India was committed to
enhancing maritime cooperation with ASEAN nations and shared their vision for
rule-based societies and values of peace. The 10 dignitaries was the chief guests
at the Republic Day parade.
