[CA] India’s longest railway station name now in Tamil Nadu
Puratchi
Thalaivar Dr. M. G. Ramachandran Central Railway Station in Tamil Nadu, with 57
letters, missed the honour of having the longest railway station name by just
an alphabet. “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch” in
Wales with 58 letters, still continues to be on record for having the longest
railway station name by just a whisker.
[CA] Tamil Nadu's Lokayukta
Tamil Nadu Governor Mr. Banwarilal Purohit has appointed
retired High Court Judge P. Devadass as chairperson of the five – member
Lokayukta that was notified on April 01, 2019. Judicial members and non –
judicial members have also been appointed.
